Use case

Home, furniture and DIY on WhatsApp

Long consideration cycles and delivery scheduling produce questions that span days, and the thread has to survive that gap.

What customers ask

  • "What are the dimensions?" — answered from your product data
  • "Will it fit through my door?" — answered from your measurements
  • "Can I schedule delivery?" — answered and escalated to a human when it needs one

What changes

Long-running conversations stay in one place, with the history intact when a person takes over.

What does not change

The agent answers messages it receives. It does not chase customers, it does not send campaigns, and it cannot act on an abandoned cart today. If a vendor promises you those without showing you where to switch them on, ask again.

  • No visual workflow builderAutomations run on an event-driven engine, but there is no drag-and-drop editor for authoring them in the app.
  • Commerce-event triggers are not selectable yetThe engine supports orders, checkouts, customers, products and fulfilments. Merchants can currently switch on the inbound WhatsApp message trigger only. The rest are rolling out.
  • No abandoned-cart recoveryThe checkout trigger is implemented in the backend but is not merchant-selectable, so no customer can be messaged unprompted.
