Use case

Fashion and apparel on WhatsApp

Pre-purchase sizing and availability questions are the highest-volume, lowest-complexity messages a clothing store receives — and they are exactly what an agent grounded in your catalogue handles well.

What customers ask

  • "Do you have this in a medium?" — answered from your live variants and stock, not guessed
  • "What size should I order?" — answered from the measurements and fit notes on the product
  • "When will the small be back?" — answered from what your inventory actually shows

What changes

Sizing questions get answered while the customer is still deciding, including at night and at weekends.

What does not change

The agent answers messages it receives. It does not chase customers, it does not send campaigns, and it cannot act on an abandoned cart today. If a vendor promises you those without showing you where to switch them on, ask again.

  • No visual workflow builderAutomations run on an event-driven engine, but there is no drag-and-drop editor for authoring them in the app.
  • Commerce-event triggers are not selectable yetThe engine supports orders, checkouts, customers, products and fulfilments. Merchants can currently switch on the inbound WhatsApp message trigger only. The rest are rolling out.
  • No abandoned-cart recoveryThe checkout trigger is implemented in the backend but is not merchant-selectable, so no customer can be messaged unprompted.
