Use case
Beauty and cosmetics on WhatsApp
Ingredient, suitability and usage questions decide a beauty purchase. They are repetitive, they are specific, and they are currently answered by whoever is free.
What customers ask
- "Is this suitable for sensitive skin?" — answered from the ingredient and description fields you maintain
- "How do I use it?" — answered from your own product copy
- "Which of these two should I pick?" — the agent compares the products you actually sell
What changes
Repetitive suitability questions stop consuming a person's day, and the answers stay consistent with your product pages.
What does not change
The agent answers messages it receives. It does not chase customers, it does not send campaigns, and it cannot act on an abandoned cart today. If a vendor promises you those without showing you where to switch them on, ask again.
- No visual workflow builderAutomations run on an event-driven engine, but there is no drag-and-drop editor for authoring them in the app.
- Commerce-event triggers are not selectable yetThe engine supports orders, checkouts, customers, products and fulfilments. Merchants can currently switch on the inbound WhatsApp message trigger only. The rest are rolling out.
- No abandoned-cart recoveryThe checkout trigger is implemented in the backend but is not merchant-selectable, so no customer can be messaged unprompted.
